The start of the Lisbon half marathon is on this bridge. It gave us a beautiful view on the river and the city of Lisbon.
The upper deck is for cars and the lower deck is for the trains but this day the upper deck was for the athletes!.

Very imposing structure worth a view.Drove under it during my bus tour today. You'd have to have a head for heights to use it though.

Longest bridge in Europe.
Beautiful to see it from different touristic attraction such as Cristo Rei and from the Telecabine that takes you to the Oceanarium.
No line too.

17 km long beach built in water. Very impressive. Is located in the Parque das Nações. Great view over the bridge from the cable car.

We were travelling back to Lisbon from the east, so this bridge was on our route anyway. When we were on it we had great views of Lisbon, and then discovered that it's the longest bridge of its kind in Europe. Pretty sure there wasn't a toll either.
