This was a great success with our four and 12 year olds. The first Hall was a little disappointing since the activities were a little obscure, although the skyline bike ride was apparently worth the 20 minute wait, but the next halls were terrific and pitched absolutely right. You could visit twice and the children could be just as absorbed second time. A little more seating around would suit the accompanying grandparents!

We (2 adults) went to the science museum on a rainy April day and had so much fun! Lots of interactive displays and things to do. Even got to ride a bike over a tightrope in the air!

Situated in Parque de Nacoes, the science museum is a lovely place for the kids to spend a few hours exploring and playing with the many experiments that are situated in the various halls.

The illusions are simply brilliant and even toddlers have plenty to keep themselves entertained.

Young children should try riding the bicycle on a tight wire. It’s quite exciting.

Place is open from 10 am on weekdays and 11 am on weekends.

My five-year-old daughter is very keen for us to review this museum as she thought it was the best museum she’d ever been to! She loved riding a unicycle, making an electrical circuit, driving a car, helping to build the unfinished house, cannon balling into a giant dog food bowl and lying on a bed of nails! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful too.
