What a venue for a rock gig! If you want to spend a few days in a beautiful European city and see a band while you are there, find out about future concerts in Campo Pequeno. Wonderful building and a great atmosphere

I could not watch a bullfight but on my first full day in Lisbon I thought it might be interesting to see what a bullring looks like and I was really impressed. It was actually one of my favourite sights in Lisbon and I really walked some miles in my trip eventually seeing most of the city. Strangely I was the only tourist there approaching lunchtime whereas the other attractions had hoards of tourists present. There is also a shopping centre underneath which I walked around and bought my lunch and many other food items but this shopping centre did not seem as plush as the other huge modern shopping centres in Lisbon and on the outskirts.

Nice, but not very impactful. The place now used as a shopping center, is a bull racing field, a very important "sporting" activity in neighboring Spain, but in decay in Portugal. It has half a dozen well-known stores, a few bazaars, a standard dining area and two or three nice outdoor restaurants.

Thank you for your comment.

Campo Pequeno is now a concert hall that hosts all kinds of events: music, musical theater, corporate events, markets and fairs and also bullfighting. We also have a shooping center and parking.

We hope you will visit us in the next opportunity!

Honestly how does this still get by in a fairly modern country? Very sad to watch, it's cruel and violent

By chance we got to see Snow Patrol there and they were great, much better than watching bull fighting ;) What a great venue.
