“Sunday Flea Market”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2016

Beautiful stroll along a wide boulevard, flanked by numerous old building showing Portuguese architecture and building art using multi-coloured tiles. The sides of the boulevard host many flea market type of displays for varied antiques and crafts. Magnificant on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

“Agenda de Liberdade”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2016

Agenda de Liberdade is a main north south street in central Lisbon. It connects important areas such as Edward VII Park, the Pombal and the commercial district. It terminates close to the Rossio square. It is a very wide, impressive boulevard lined by apartments, buildings and banks. It's a little like Lisbon's Champs Elysea. It's a nice walk and there are a few cafes but it's most impressive as a very big wide important looking street and makes a great point of reference when navigating.

“Nice shops”

Walked this route most evenings returning from town to our hotel. Attractive window displays - goods not always priced! Top market names.

“Great shops - dirty and badly repaired paths.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2016

For a main street of such importance in such a famous city this sadly disappointed.

Okay, there's amazing shops and things to see but this place really needs a complete makeover of the streets.

In the 5 days I stayed here (I've had many visits to Lisbon), I watched 4 people on separate occasions fall due to the awful condition of the paths.

It's must see place to visit but be aware of what's below waist level and you'll be fine.

“A must to walk around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2016

My wife's preferred spot from hairdresser to shops. This wide avenue full of trees is really a delight. The only inconvenience is in fact the narrow sidewalks. The wide sidewalks are in the middle, with some restaurants which one should use if deciding to just go for a walk. Topped by Parque Eduardo VII and Marques de Pombal Square is indeed something not to miss.
