A landmark best viewed at sunset, in silhouette... a nice park surrounding but not really worth going inside.

The Tower itself is a Lisbon must see. It's structurally very impressive worth taking the effort to get the picture opportunity.

We joined the queue to go inside which stretched beyond the long wooden bridge to get to the entrance onto the concrete steps beyond it. After nearly fifteen minutes we still hadn't reached the bridge so we decided to give up. Fifteen minutes later from a vantage point further down the promenade we saw that the German Lady pushing her child in a buggy who had been immediately behind us in the queue had progressed about 10ft onto the bridge with about another 60 ft to go.

We concluded some things are better admired from afar.

This is a very nice building however when we got there to queue up we were told that it was closed for saftey reasons. But I still saw them letting people in who already had tickets.
