Another great private collection! This has all the best and worst of private collections. There is good depth of the collector’s favourite artists. Some of these are not artists often seen in Canada so it was a welcome experience. Also great so see art by some of modern art greats.
The downside of private collections is that they generally only contain “pretty” art and nothing too controversial or challenging.
This is a large museum so it will take time to go through it. If you go to Belem take this museum in.

A welcome refreshment after touring the maritime and the combat museum. A well-designed museum, with well-curated exhibits.

What I like about the museum is that they divided it in different art eras, explaining every small movement. Only €2,50 for students! 15E stops really close-by, which is convenient.

This is a thoughtful and elegant museum with a small but compelling collection of contemporary art placed in dialogue with each other.

Two hours that pass fast, with a more than affordable cost, € 5.00 for adults and 2.50 for children up to 18 years, you can admire some really beautiful works ... Highly recommended
