Small but truly unique and intresting museum. This place has everything you would imagine! Drawers full of legs, hands, heads and more everything for fixing dolls. Maybe a bit creapy but truly intresting! Big collection of doll from all around the world.

Our tour guide from Wild Walkers suggested this place and we thought of visiting it one rainy morning. It is interesting not only because of its history but because it houses a museum with a collection of dolls. It is worth a visit not only for doll lovers but for everyone... except those who are scared of dolls!

The entrance is only EUR 2 and a guide will show you around the upper floor of the house. You will see a room where they cure (repair) the dolls. Parts of the dolls (heads, bodies, arms, limbs) are kept in glass drawers. A collection of eyes with different colors are also displayed.

There are a number of rooms in the museum where the dolls are displayed. Some of the doll accessories and doll houses are also there. Some are very old ones and are in different sizes. Some even look very creepy and scary!

The hospital is run by a family and they are very friendly. Pay a visit and be amazed!

More than 4000 dolls are waiting for you. A nice lady will show you the difference stages of "curing" a broken doll. You'll have a walk through doll history. Very charming

Great value, fantastic place. The tickets are doll bookmarks- nice touch. Bigger than I thought it'd be (I'd seen it on Richard Ayoade's Travel Man show with Adam Buxton) and full of treasures. I think I could've stayed for longer, just STARING at everything. They have the hospital to look at, and the museum, too. The guides are lovely- it's family run, and always has been. Fascinating to see dolls of different eras, and different places.

We were going to be in Lisbon and I came across this doll hospital as I researched Lisbon. I have a 66 yr old doll who looked every bit her age. After a little bit of searching the shop was a little hard to find), we found the doll hospital/museum. They carefully looked at my doll and said the could fix her, new hair, new clothes made to match the old. I picked out the specific hair, choosing from different types of hair, different styles and colors. I left her with them, paid (not inexpensive), gave them my address and left Portugal. I just her in the mail (5 weeks later). The transformation is remarkable. I absolutely am thrilled with the job they did, from head to toe literally. If you ever need a doll repaired, this is the absolute best place.
