We arrived by car past check in time because our travel plans got messed up so we had to pay a 20euro fee upon arrival. We didn't have any euro so the owner let us bring it to the office the next day. The owner Rui met us at the apartment to give us the key. He was always available by phone when we called or texted.
The apartment was in the perfect location for us because we wanted to go out and have plenty of night life, food and drink options. It was a little loud but that didn't really bother us too much. Everything shuts down at 2am so it quiets down, it gets lively again around 9am.
The apartment itself wasn't exactly what I expected. My main concern was the bathroom. It had a sewage smell that bothered me a bit and the hot water went out after about ten minutes. With two people showering, it wasn't long enough.
You can hear the tenants upstairs walking around but once again we live in NYC so that wasn't anything we weren't use to.
The highlight of this property is the location and if you don't plan on being in much like us it is totally worth it.
