We stopped here for lunch, on the recommendation of our tour guide during travel here in Sintra.
It's got two locations. This one is up the hill, and the more popular one is at the foot of the hill, on the small street, and is crazy-packed.
The service here was VERY good. The waiters spoke english, and were very accommodating. The food was nothing extraordinary--the basics, mainly. But we had a nice seat near the window to enjoy the breeze. Of course, the desserts are what drives this place. The "almendria (sp?)", and the little "pillow" pastries were excellent. I couldn't find an equivalent in Lisbon proper. The service was a *little* slow, mind you.
