I stayed for one night at this hotel, but would have loved to stay more. It is in the centre of the most beautiful and historic town, but still relatively quiet. It is very attractively arranged and decorated, and the staff were very helpful and friendly, including when I lost my wallet and its contents! There is a bar and dining room serving and excellent breakfast. Thoroughly recommended all round.

Room tip: Ask for a balcony room

Truly a little gem right in the center of a magnificent town. Very comfortable for a reasonable price. Easy walk from the train. As always in Portugal the people working here were very friendly. Happy travels.

This is a great hotel in a central location. The old city is just steps away. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of attractions to visit and their location, as well as restaurants who serve different cuisines. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is very good and I recommend that you have it at the hotel. The cost was 7 € and was well worth it. If you arrive early they will store your bags for you, conversely, they will store your bags if you have a later train.

Lovely small hotel, nicely located in a small and at night surprisingly quit street and only a few minutes from the historical town centre.
Parking might be a problem however there are several underground parkings around.

Room tip: Ask for a parking place with your booking.

Really nice designed rooms and hallways, full of funky art. Metres from the old town down a quiet side street. Incredibly large room for Europe. Breakfast for 5e. Even scored free street parking right outside front door!
