A lovely, hidden place, absolutely to try! You can taste various types of typical pastry at a small price, in a cozy and lovely environment, kept by two young guys. Worth it!

We had 3 typical regional pastries, not the one with pudding. And two double espresso, then we took another 4 pastries with us. We paid 14€, a price more than fair. And: we really enjoyed them! Not industrial, but rather homemade. The espresso was the same served in our former hotel (Pousada Belmonte) and therefor also fine concerning Portuguese standards ;) We also enjoyed the atmosphere, modern and young :)

The best places are usually found by accident. We were walking around Guimaraes, hungry for some local sweets, and we just came across this small inconspicuous cafe. It turned out to be great! We tasted local cakes - douradinhas and tortas de Guimaraes - and had two espressos served in cute cups. The interior is really cozy, the sweets delicious, and the service was very nice. I would really like to go back there one day!

During my trip to Guimarães I was looking for "tortas" and I found this shop! A nice place to go at first sight but then I realized that it was a place to avoid!! They have prices for tourist (much higher!!!) and prices for locals! That is not acceptable.. On top of that they sell the older products to tourists.. You can easily find the same products in other shops way better and cheaper. A huge shame to Guimarães.. I will definitely return to Guimarães but I will stay away do Divina.
