How many parks do you know which connect to a beach? Well this is one of them, really nice to walk around and relax.

Both sides of Porto are beautiful to walk and you'll never get tired of the views. The bridge spans above you and the hillside architecture is so wonderful.
This was my first visit to marque da cidade. I'm so glad I visited the park. I've been to Porto several times but had not visited the park previously. Beautiful park that is conducive to nice stroll or sitting in contemplation. I plan to visit again and again.
Beautiful park near the busy area but not crowded. There was a big National soccer event going and the nearby river area was packed with lots of fans singing revelry and energy. A little break in this area was worth it. Well maintained felt very safe and inviting.
If you love getting lost in parks and discovering green corners with lively nature, go to this park. It's a haven for bird watchers, children, tired locals looking for a relaxing place, and also for tourists who want to get away from the busy city.
Bring your bike or roller blades, a blanket or some picnic chairs, a couple of sandwiches and a bottle of water and you're all set. You can find private little places to be alone or open areas where you see others sun-bathing. If you're lucky, you might see park rangers patrolling on white horses (i saw them during the weekend).
In my opinion, this is the best park in the city to experience some wild nature. You can walk to it from Casa da Musica/Rotunda da Boavista or, from the Matosinhos coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
near to the sea.
it´s a lovely place to take some photos and play with the kids.
nice to couples and families
