My Portuguese friend showed me this place. Here is you can try different types of Portuguese cuisine. And what I love - it is special cocktails - with passion fruit - so good and tasty - only 5 euros.

Many thanks for the kind words and recommendation, Anna! We hope to see you again, in the future :)
If you find yourself in the Boa Vista area of Porto, call in for something to eat at the Mercado Bom Sucesso, now given over almost entirely to food stalls. There’s a slight air of the works canteen about it, as you carry your food on a tray to find a table. But the food is restaurant-quality, with a huge choice from Italian, or vegetarian, to local specialities like shellfish or leitão (roast young pig with pepper sauce in soft rustic bread) – easily the most popular stall there.
It was very nice to have you here, Jack! And we appreciate your kind review :)
We hope to see you again, in the future!
Found this food court in Porto - a little off the tourist beat but so worth it! Modelled on the time out market in Lisbon. It is clean with lots of choice - Portuguese, Asian , seafood and even vegetarian! The roast pork is to die for. Definitely enough choice for the pickiest!
Thank you so much for your visit! It was a pleasure to have you here :)
Situated next to the Hotel da Musica. Food market selling many different types of food from lots of individual stalls. Tapas, pizza, seafood, cheese, risotto and desserts to name a few. There is definitely something for everyone. A number of different bars too with beer, wine, cocktails and port.
All the sellers are really friendly and let you try before you buy. Great atmosphere too. Buy what you want from wherever you want and then find somewhere to sit. Very relaxed and informal way to eat and the food and drink is still excellent quality.
Even better, very good value e.g. 3 large pizzas and 3 beers less than €30, bottle of good quality red wine ( Alentejo) for €13.
We are delighted with this review, Simon! Many thanks for your visit and kindness :)
We were passing by Mercado Bom Sucesso, so did not intend to stay or buy anything. However we spent some time walking around and were totally amazed at the beautiful food on offer and the comfortable surroundings. Food is not the only item on sale, of course, there are other things too. There are many stalls and we were impressed by the cleanliness of the whole market place. It is worth a visit whether you are a local or not. You can't go wrong. And the prices are great too!
We're very gald you liked to visit us! Thank you so much for your kindness :)
See you soon, we hope!
We had a platter of seafood, it was very tasteful and fresh. Plenty cuisines to pick from. There’s also a few book stores around, a nice place to grab a bite and relax
Many thanks for the review! We're happy that you liked it :)
See you soon!
