Very nice view on Porto and it's not hard to climb on it. Nice view on Douro River and Old Porto. Worth to see.

We were ambling through the back streets above our hotel and came across the viewpoint by chance. There was a guided walking tour there so we waited until they moved on and then took some photos.

Worth stopping and admiring the view if you are passing nearby.
Obviously you need to walk up hill to get up here. Be prepared for a pleasant but hilly walk. Then enjoy the view!

We passed this spot rather by accident and enjoyed the wonderful view over the city, the Douro river and Vila Nova de Gaia. I would say this is more like a 'hidden spot', but certainly worth making the walk over there.

Found this as we were trying to make our way down to the Ribeira. Great look out point although photos are still better from the metro route across Dom Luis bridge. Some beautiful, unrestored streets around here as well as the steps down towards the new Mercado and the wharf area.

This vista point area sits behind a church. Beautiful view of the river and the red tile houses. A popular hangout for families on the weekend. It’s free. Expect a crowd especially on holidays.

From this viewpoint, Miradouro da Vitoria, you will have most of Porto's sights at once. You can see the Gaia district, the Dom Luis I bridge, Serra do Pilar, Sé Catedral and most of the historic centre. Maybe one of the best views of the city. The viewpoint itself is not very well kept, but here were some very nice street art. Though some seemed a bit faded. The area is nice and several interesting streets around.

If you're making your way to the Ribeira from the Torre dos Clérigos, try to make your way through the area where this miradouro is. The streets around are also interesting so you won't be wasting time. From this spot you get a different view of the old town and the small streets, with views to the D. Luis bridge as well as the cathedral with the river and a bit of the Ribeira. As others mentioned, it's also not that crowded (we went there on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of space for everyone). Even if you can get views of the town from the bridges, the cathedral and Gaia, from this side of the town this might be the best view spot.

The views which can be had of Porto from here aren't bad, but compared to the others which can be gotten from the bridgers and the other viewpoints, this fails in comparison. It's not normally busy and it's not too hard to get too, so if you're wating a different vista of Porto I'd recommend it, but you certainly won't be missing out if you don't visit here.
