This place is activity 101 for Porto well into the night. Great restaurants in the area and good views of the water activities and the Pont Luis Bridge.

If in Porto Central all roads go steeply downwards and seem to end in this square. As well as the marvellous river view and the busy restaurants there are two small supermarkets nearby and great restaurants in the narrow branching streets.
Cruz Douro has its booking office there also.
The road leads one left towards the bridge but also explore to the left for a nice river walk and tiny restaurants

A lovely atmosphere greets you in this square!
It's really the hub of Porto....boats leave from it, restaurants and bars are plentiful and it has a ever busy information booth right in the centre!
Buzzy in a dignified way....

It was crowdy due to the redbull airrace. Normally you can do a douro cruise from there but they were all cancelled due to the redbull event

It's such a unique experience to be walking along the River Douro at Ribera Square. So many restaurants, daily activities, market, music going on all the time. Tourist attraction.
