Very convenient for the railway station, but since it has merged with the hotel next door, there are lots of stairs and corridors. OK breakfast buffet. The room is perfectly all right for a nights sleep.

What a shame- hotel siru is in need of some attention. The first thing is that the very small reception desk is catering for two hotels- unfortunately you are not greeted with too many friendly smiles which is rather sad. On checking in, 2 key cards were given which clearly don't work- it took ages to try and get into the room and the main entrance. There is one lift in the hotel which says maximum 4 people- don't bother trying to include your luggage into the factor. You also need your key card to operate it and when that doesn't work good luck to you because you need to start the journey up the back stairs which go on and on and on!!!! By the time you get to the fourth floor you need a rest! The room was extremely small for 2 people- literally you walk into the room and the bed is right in front of you! Lacking in plug sockets, no complementary tea facilities, toiletries poor, shower very small and old! The noise from other people using the showers above is very loud. Temperature of room was uncomfortable- not even a hot day but very very warm. The building opposite is undergoing demolishing, so all through the night the noise was unbearable. Gave up breakfast after day 1- nowhere to sit!!! So busy due to festival goers that there were no seats, plates, cutlery etc. What a shame.

Dear guest,
We thank you for your comment.
We are truly sorry for the reception during your stay. This does not reflect the service quality that we want to offer to our clients. Thank you for informing us about this incident. We will implement all necessary means in order to ensure that such a situation will not occur again.
Our hotel is an historical building from the beginning of the century : the lift’s size cannot be bigger. Moreover air conditioning is not mentioned in our equipment.
Your stay was during Tomorrowland Festival which explains that there was an exceptional crowd in the hotel. We apologize for the noise and the breakfast crowd.
Nevertheless, we hope that you will give us a chance to regain your confidence and we are looking forward to welcoming you again at the Siru Hotel.
Best regards,
Sarah M. The Siru Hotel’s team

The entrance was via Hotel des Colonies. They are under-staffed at breakfast, so it is hard to find a clean table. The levator is a disaster: very slow, out-dated. The room is OK but no AC and it was 33 degrees.

Dear guest,
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconveniences encountered during your stay.
We take your remarks very seriously, for which we will take adequate and immediate measures to ensure that it doesn’t occur again.
Air conditioning is not mentioned in our equipment, Siru Hotel does not really meet the standards of modernity because it is a listed building. We regret that it did not meet your expectation and take a note of your remarks.
Nevertheless, we hope that you will give us a chance to regain your confidence and we are looking forward to welcoming you again at the Siru Hotel.
Best regards,

Hotel Siru is located right behind the closed down Sheraton Hotel. The location is very central and good for sightseeing and shopping.

Very close to the train station,Hilton and City 2 Mall.

The rooms are relatively small but very clean. The staff is nice and friendly. Rack rate is quite pocket friendly given the central location.

Only 2 drawbacks; the breakfast leaves more to be desired and you can hear whatever is going on in the bathroom upstairs in the room.

Apart from that, I wouldn't mind recommending this establishment to anyone travelling on a budget.

The reservations staff is quick to respond to reservation queries and always eager to assist.

This is the second time i stayed in Hotel Siru. Same remarks pretty much: nice american breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, nice view to Rogier square. It is a good and economic choice for someone visiting briefly Brussels and wishes to stay close to the city center.
