Full of vendors annoying the hell out of people. Cheap tourism from cruise ships loud music , very crowded. It's a shame....you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Definitely not a nice quiet place

I was so anxious to try several beaches during my 1 day in Antigua however this was the only beach I made it to. I was told it was one of the best and not to bother with the rest. So I can't compare it to the others but for me it did not disappoint. The day we were there our driver told us the water wasn't as clear as it normally is due to rain. Although it was slightly cloudy, the beach was still beautiful. We didn't see any fish but there are a lot of seashells for collecting if that's something of interest. The people were a little pushy and seemed upset we didn't want to rent chairs or umbrellas but they left us alone after a few attempts. There is a small bar and food area and a few local vendors but not too much going on here, which for us was perfect for a quiet afternoon on the beach.

Mostly an empty beach (unless a cruise ship is in ) but then they tend to be at the beach bar . Its a long sandy beach but great for shelling too.

Way too busy.
Thought the people on the beach were a bit pushy. Cheaper to bring your own food and drink.
Nice beach

We were a party of 4 and used the General for our driver, He was a super nice man and would tell anyone that is going anywhere around the Island to give him a call for taking your party around, His phone # is 268-775-2211.
Thank you General for a great day.
