The interior is quite up scale. My husband and I had our last dinner at Athens and this place gave us a beautiful and good farewell to our trip.

I personally love the shrimp and crayfish croquets, a Athinaikon Specialty.
The sardines filleted on the bread was OK. It was nice to have fruit as refreshment while waiting for waiter to process the billing.

Price is reasonable with the good quality of food, service and ambient. Highly recommend.

We have been to his place twice in a row because we like the dishes they be prepare combined with the correct service which means quite something in central Athens. The Greek salad, grilled eggplant, meat balls, all are great. Tap water served in abundance, so no need to waste money on bottled water.
With our bill, we got fresh fruits.

Having just arrived in Athens, we walked through the Plaka in search of a light lunch. We settled in and ordered a large bottle of still water, draft beer, freshly squeezed orange juice and 2 glasses of white wine. The menu was extensive and offered many options. We ordered traditional Greek salad, baked broad beans in tomato sauce, buttered noodles for our nine year old and a roasted pork dish with French fries for my husband. All were good – not exceptional but much better than expected in such a tourist area. We ordered 2 more glasses of white wine and the waiter brought us ¾ of a carafe. For dessert, the waiter provided a complimentary fruit plate of the sweetest melon and watermelon I have ever tasted. Our waiter seemed as though he would rather be elsewhere but, overall, the meal was a good start to our trip to Athens. Total bill: Euros 57.

An excellent restaurant and a must for anyone visiting Athens who wants to eat top quality local cuisine. The restaurant is well located and unlike many local restaurants doesn't have (or need) pushy door staff trying to drag you in. Once inside you are presented with a sophisticated and clean interior.

The menu itself offers a wide array of meat, fish, seafood and cheese dishes. Over the course of two evenings (it was so good we went back) we ate four of the dishes from the meat side of the menu. The Moussaka was clearly home made and was served piping hot in a clay dish; unlike many Moussaka's it contained a generous portion of meat accompanied by aubergine and potato. The other dishes we ate included Grilled Meatballs, homemade Beef Stew and Pork Skewer. The latter, the skewer, was seven pieces of fat free perfectly cooked pork tenderloin accompanied by pitta, chips, fresh tomato, a bowl of tzatziki, lemon and chopped onion.

Everything in all the dishes was of the absolute highest quality and was prepared fresh to order. Despite the quality the price was very reasonable with most main courses ranging from about €10 to €15. Portions were very generous and the service was efficient, friendly and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

As an aside it is worth saying that the toilets were absolutely spotless and immaculate. I would probably go as far as saying they are the cleanest and smartest restaurant toilets I've seen. A great sign of a restaurant's standards!

Great place to dine in the center of Athens. The food quality is amazing. The prices are reasonable.
Location - is 5 minutes walk from Syntagma Square to the Cathedral. Appearance - high-class restaurant with great modern interior and ancient excavation under the glass in the floor. Amazing!
The food presentation is amazing! And the taste is to die for.
Great service. You just come to the restaurant and a bottle of still water waits for you in 30 seconds. You enjoy your food and then instead of receipt, you get free fruits from the restaurant. What can be better is a hot day in Athens?
