This museum is locatedon Douka Neofitou, near Syntagma Square; here we find the largest Collection of Cycladic Art in the world, most all in marble; in Geometric forms, from Mycenaen, and Classical eras to modern times.

The museum is very well organized and maintained. They have 3 floors + extra place for temporary exhibitions. My favourite part was definitely the one on Greek Gods and about life in Athens. I believe it is worth visiting.

Looking at ancient figures that look an awful like 20th century sculpture was a bit spooky. This is a very nice smaller museum well laid out with excellent signage explaining the exhibits.
Don't miss it.

This is a small and interesting collection of artifacts. Perhaps if we hadn't already been to the National Archaeological Museum and Acropolis Museum we would have a different opinion, but most of the offerings were very similar to those found in the other museums. The 1st floor Cycladic exhibit was very good, but again small. The 4th floor created a very good image of what day to day life would have been like. I would say that if you have extra time this would be worth the visit, but if you are pressed for time and had to choose this or the other 2 museums I would skip it.
