We were in Greece for two weeks and Athens Insiders did an excellent job from start to finish on our trip.
We started out with a list of places we wished to visit on this trip and Konstantinos did a wonderful job working with us to arrange our complex itinerary. He suggested a few ideas and we had the ultimate decision on where to visit and the order of the visits. He was thorough in his detail and made this trip worry free.
When we arrived in Greece, the office duties were handed over to Natalie, who was there when we needed her and even when we didn't! She was able to look into a few issues while we were in Country and resolved them fairly. The team of Konstantinos and Natalie worked very well.
We chose to have a driver for this vacation, so we could relax between locations and have somebody we could trust. Yannis was an excellent driver and offered his personal insight along the way. He was professional along the way, and made very good decisions while on the road; my wife and I felt very safe with Yannis behind the wheel. We shared a common interest in Photography, so that made the trip so much more fun with a driver who understood stopping or spending a little more time at a location.
The guides we had at the various sites were all knowledgeable and patient with our questions. Nancy at the Acropolis; Ilias at Mycenae, Tyrins, Epidaurus, Mystras and Messenne, Vasilis at Olympia, Christina at Delphi and Vasiliki at Akrotiri. They all were local and their experience showed as they took us to the important spots at each site. As state licensed guides, they were all very professional in their interactions with other guides and the caretakers of the sites. Athens Insiders did a wonderful job selecting top flight guides at each location.
We went from one site to the next and learned more and more each time. We would say that the tour we just completed was the best we had ever been on; then the next tour would offer something new and that became the best tour we had ever been on.
If I could give 6 starts, I would. This has been the trip of our lifetimes and we are glad that we worked with Athens Insiders!
