Loved the vibes and overall ambiance. The food was quite good, especially creme catalagne for desert. Especially charming owner. Do give it a try.

Simply do not waist your time and money to go to this place. No value for money.
Very miserable. Feels dirty. No menu -you can choose to drink ONLY Sangria....nothing else. No bottled water. No refreshments. Food....poor...what a waist....only rice with sth...he (the owners) "calls" it paella ..... then some starters ("aparadekta"=unacceptable in Greek) like cheeses with this and that...
No. Please do not go there..
Kichy (all painted in red)...dirty...no variety of food and drinks...bad serves (the owner is miserable, looks like he has never went washing, hair style ....like he went from a cave....with a shirt and pullover...no waiter of course...very unpoliate...
And the best.....very very expensive for the bullsh....s this place serves.
Some people have not to start a business...simply bcs they cannot do it.
Pls please do not go waist your time in Paella Barcelona!
Sorry to disappoint you....

After my recent trip to Barcelona, I decided to visit this place to spread the memory. The atmosphere was authentic, they had a duet playing that night, a guitar player and a singer, which was really nice. The man who served the food was very kind so we had the best first impression. We order the "queso" plate for starter and sangria as it was the only kind of alcohol you could have. They arrived in traditional jar, mugs and plates.
The plate with the cheese was small but very tasty combined with pitta bread and tomato deep. The sangria was below average.
Paella arrived in a big saucepan, as we have ordered two of the seafood one.
There, was lying the greatest disappointment!!! That was not a paella. It was a mixture of boiled rice and boiled frozen vegetables accompanied with some seafood for taste. There was no red sauce at all and you could clearly see that the ingredients were not slowly cooked all together as they should be but mixed at the end.
It is a shame to name your restaurant "Paella Barcelona" and probably you have never eaten an original paella in your life, but also to serve only paella and don't have any idea how to do it. Why???

Very small restaurant in a quiet location. The service was quick but the food was very average.
We ordered two "paellas", one with meat and the other with seafood (one shrimp and two mussels). Both dishes were full of rice, and seemed to be prepared the day before.
The salad was good and the sangria was just ok.
