A sister chocolaterie to the uninspired, uncomfortable setting of Sokolata (a few blocks away - same owner - which had been on my chocolate-hopping venue list a couple of years ago...never to return!), this shop definitely offers a huge aesthetic improvement to the original location (even though it is tucked in a corner of a nondescript arcade close to the main city square), with mishmash colorful furnishings and bohemian decor. That, for me, is its ONLY saving grace. The menu is WAY overpriced through n' through, with its signature highly advertised Valrhona hot chocolates @ 5.50 - 7.00 euro a piece (!!!), which would be forgivable if the taste were up to par (indeed, it is not to die for), or if the servings were healthy (instead they come in little old-fashioned china cups that just don't cut it, especially in the most pricy versions, as if it were rationed out). To make things worse, the choice of milk is animal milk (i.e. no choice!) and we were offered some silly excuses for other options. So if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, you might as well forget it ! I'm not even gonna bother about the service (at a very busy time it seemed staffed only by the owner), which was a joke ...unless you have a sweet tooth for sarcasm, in which case, you might be in for a treat !!
