My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. We had a lovely downstairs room which was quiet and nicely appointed. The breakfast was nice and accommodating for our vegetarian preferences. Antonio was very helpful with our direct reservation and provided helpful arrival tips.
Our main challenge was getting to the hotel and off loading our luggage. It's a bit difficult to find and the road is quite full in the daytime making it tough to offload baggage--the hotel is not right by the street so this is slightly more doable if you have 2 people. Parking is a challenge (this is not our first time to Chania but we needed to have a car for a couple of days) but available with a walk of a few blocks. If you arrive by taxi, this issue is not an issue! We left by taxi early in the morning so the departure was much easier.
But, the property is in a good location and we enjoyed it once we arrived.

Room Tip: We enjoyed our ground floor room.

Had a lovely time, went down with my husband and 6 year old daughter...a well appointed spacious bangaloo with lovely sea views from the patio decking. Tim & Sue were perfect hosts, advised us on all the on going touristic activities. we enjoyed our stay emensley. Great stay...I highly recommend to suit a family of 4 / 4-3 adults.

I understand this is not a luxury hotel--but the room we stayed in could do with a little attention. It had a rattling AC unit, partly detached toilet seat, no bedside lamps and a shower the size of a phone booth. But don't misunderstand--we enjoyed our stay. Antonio is a very gracious host, and the breakfast was very nice. Bozzali had the small-hotel vibe we like. The location is very good—a few steps away from the hubub of the port. And it was a relative bargain.

Bozzali very hard to find. Look for the narrow Galavadon alley off Sifaka--the entrance is about twenty metres back on the left. If you have a car, as we did, there is free parking about a 10 minute walk on Akti Miaouli. I wouldn't recommend trying to park and unload in the old town—you might not find your way in . . . or out.

I would normally give it three stars, but the attitude and friendliness of the owner makes it earn a fourth.

A bit overvalued. Clean rooms but maybe the bathroom needs a renovation. The owner is very polite and pleasant. Breakfast is nice but not rich. The location is great. In 5 minutes walk you are in hte port.

Antonio our host was very helpful and welcoming. He was extremely helpful with information and always smiling.
Our room was comfortable, on the ground floor with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The only drawback was it was rather dark for reading.
The breakfast was good but could have done with some hot food, eggs , etc.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the historic old town on a limited budget.

Room Tip: If you want a balcony ask for an upstairs room
