I arrived with 2 friends early on 9h Sep for a 2 wk package holiday,The rooms were still occupied but manager Sophia gave priority to a quick turnaround and offered us breakfast altho we weren't sure this was included in our package. The buffet included several fruits, yoghurt, cold cuts, white & brown bread at the toaster, etc, served in& outside until 10 o'clock.
The rooms with ensuite shower & AC were kept spotless, particularly the good quality bed linen & towels.Everyone at the hotel was unfailingly friendly & helpful.
It suited us that there was no noisy pool area or musak.
Loveholidays had found the best value place in ideal location with view of the Venetian wall between the old town restaus & the beaches.

Room Tip: My room at the front was large&airy with good furnished balcony

Very polite stuff especially Mr. Aris in the evening, very helpful also the woman in the morning. The hotel is close to the shopping street and the city centre is about a 5 minute walk down! Bus station is also really close !
You have the advantage of booking trips from the hotel for a very good price for a whole day trip ! Before i forget to mention the breakfast is good not a big choice but still was stuffed !
Excellent hotel definitely will be back . Thank you for your services :)

For me, this hotel had very welcoming reception staff and a manager who found time to enquire of guests at breakfast whether everything was to their liking, and gave a personal "goodbye and thank you" with a handshake on my departure. These little gestures can make a difference. The hotel has the blessing of being close to the town centre, which is accessible by different routes ( more about this later) but also being in a quiet residential side-street. The front rooms with balconies have a view of the sea and a corner of the walled fortress area, and those balconies have comfy wicker chairs with seat -pads. I found my room to be clean, uncluttered and in all respects pleasant. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace in the fresh air, overlooking the street. For one route to the centre of town you turn right out of the hotel, then left onto the "main' road ( Pireos) and down the slope you will find the seafront ; a right turn there will take you round to the harbour. Turn right onto the main road and then left down "Piga" and you can either fork left at the large earthwork mound to enter the restaurant zone, or go right, which leads onto Chalidon, the main route down to the harbour. The other useful route would be to walk down Pireos past the Piga crossroads and into the newer section of town towards the bus station. The hotel has a clean modern styling, a pleasant location, a good breakfast and friendly staff : quite a find.

Room Tip: The higher the room, the better the view.

Very near to touristic Chania Port, approachable by walking. Also near to public transportation of Chania City. Very polite personnel and owners, always ready to help you! Clean hotel! Basic breakfast but fresh and good. Very quiet hotel. I would choose it againe.

This was our third visit to Crete, and our first stay in Hotel Irene. It definitely won't be our last. The rooms were clean and comfortable, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and consisted of a variety of local dishes as well as the usual cereals and toast; they were self service. All in all, a very pleasant stay and very good value for money.
