We stayed a few weeks here and found it very relaxing. The views were amazing , rooms large and everything is very clean. The stony walk to the beach could be challenging, though it was only a few steps from the hotel. The staff were friendly and kind. The only complaint we have is the sunbeds that were so hard and unbearable that they couldn't be used for longer than a few minutes. Could be the reason the pool was usually empty. The area here is very quiet and a good distance from everything. There are busses though that can take you to Chania town and two taverns are nearby. Bring along mosquito spray as you will need it. Perhaps arranging a few musical greek evenings and buying some cushions for the sunbeds would help you feel like you would like to come back someday.

Room Tip: The rooms with a sea view are the best.

The hotel is located just a couple of hundred yards from a wonderful beach that was not crowded at all when we were there. Great place to swim and relax on the beach.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Chania but it's easy to get in by bus or car when you want a little more action or choice in restaurants. We enjoyed the local taverns in the area though too.

We loved the views from the hotel (including our balcony), enjoyed the friendly staff. The room was nicely done and clean. No points of criticism at all, in fact we re-booked on our way back to Chania at the end of our trip.

Room Tip: obviously get sea-side if you can

Stayed here for a week on business. Was the most relaxing business trip I've ever been on. The rooms are small and quaint, but very clean. Coming from the USA the size of the bathrooms took some getting used to and the wifi was extremely slow but these are very minute complaints; overall Lena Beach Hotel is a very relaxing and beautiful hotel. The best part was getting up early and eating breakfast on the patio area facing the Aegean Sea. The hotel grounds were very quiet and provided a nice getaway after a long day of exploring Chania or Rethymno.

First I'll say the reason I gave 4/5 (Would give like 8.5/10!)
The staff were lovely except for the owner who was quite unfortunately irritating! He doesn't speak much English so kind of grumbles at you and seems arrogant. He made me sit up from a seat and felt it because he assumed I was making it wet from my swimsuit (which I wasn't) which was awkward. On another day on my way to the pool he made me go back up to my room and get our passports because he lost the details or something. And other small things that may seem stupid but it was slightly annoying when you're relaxing and get bothered by someone who isn't very friendly. But everyone else was lovely!
- Secluded if you don't have a car (just get a car it's so worth it!)
- Requested and ensured to have a double bed, but was 2 pushed together
- The paint in the pool rubs off your skin.. but comes off obviously!
- No restaurant even though sign at front boasts restaurant! They had a blackboard which had a delicious looking menu but the restaurant and kitchen were empty for the entire time we were there and told there was no food. Would really really benefit them to have it up and running!

After those tiny things, this was one of the best holidays I've ever been on.

- The views were absolutely amazing! Our room looked out to the pool, the ocean, the beach, the buildings in the distance, little islands. Blue skies and turquoise waters, it was honestly beautiful! You could see the same from the pool, beautiful sunsets too!
- Room basic but we just slept there so was perfect for us. Although the beds were just two singles pushed together, they were comfortable enough. Working aircon and TV. Few English speaking channels that had movies and interesting documentaries which was really enjoyable to stay in and watch when we weren't tired or just taking breaks from sunning :)
- Small bathroom with hose type shower but perfectly functioning and powerful. Also a tiny balcony with table and chairs which we used for drying stuff. Keep the doors closed though as much as you can, the mozzies were adamant!
- Wifi doesn't work in room , we only needed it for google maps so just stopped off down in reception when we needed internet. There's a massive lounging area there.
-Pool is absolutely massive and very very deep. Great for doing lengths and diving in! We had the place to ourselves, no one else seemed to want to sunbathe but there was plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, chairs & tables etc.
- 15 minute drive to Chania which is so so beautiful! We drove everywhere and it took a while getting used to the other side of the road and the wreckless Cretan drivers! With a car you can go anywhere at explore and they have a safe carpark
- The small restaurant is beautiful beside the hotel just down the hill slightly, lovely food and great service. Very cute little dining area and amazing views again. The food and drinks at the beach beside the hotel were amazing too. All great prices as well.
-The beach is about 3 minutes down the road and has lovely warm water, great views and sunbeds etc.

Would definitely definitely return!!!

going to Chania town and exploring there, Kissamous, Balos, the Botanical Gardens and you need a lot of energy and water for any activites.
Chania Boat Trip for €15 per adult for 3.5 hours for snorkelling ! From Chania harbour
Get Moussaka, seafood and the Cretan salads over there! Honestly some of the most delicious food I've ever had

Room Tip: Keep the doors closed! Worst Mozzies we've ever experienced
