The hotel is in a fantastic location minutes from the Archeological Museum and Dedalou Street, the Morosini Fountain etc...
The rooms are perfect with large showers, working air conditioning, small attentions (sultanas offered on your pillows instead of the usual chocolates).
Breakfast is very good as has been said before (lots of choices).
A 15-mn massage is offered to each new guest in the spa on the roof. One of the masseuses is trained in foot reflexology !
The swimming pool is on the roof top.
The so called fitness room is very small and always busy, used by men who do not seem to leave ever. I never managed to get onto the sole running machine !
A very good experience all the same. Will be back.

Hotel was great, clean and staff very helpful. Unfortunately whilst it is close to the port, for those catching a ferry to the next island, it is a fair distance from the town activity.
Breakfast was plentiful and great. Modern spacious rooms and close to the Museum.
Beads were very comfortable and you have the choice of a pillow menu to select from.

Amazing hotel, very clean, modern spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff and excellent location, right next to city port and city center, 5 minutes walking away from all the shops, cafes, bars and taverns.
5* hotel indeed.
Definitely recommended

We arrived on a bus which picked us up from the airport. As we got off the bus we almost had a heart attack. The hotel is situated in a neglect area of the town but a few steps away we entered a beautiful lobby.
The staff was nice, polite, helpful and we got our room keys quickly and went up to the room. The room was clean and comfortable.
The biggest complaint we had was that the pool on the roof was very very small and there was no bar for cold drinks or even quiet background music.
When you go to a hotel that is not on the beach you expect the pool to be a normal sized pool. It was not. It was very small even for children.
The food was fresh and good. The staff were so helpful and cordial at all times.
All in all we had a wonderful week and got to know all the shops and markets in the city!

Room tip: There is no beautiful view from the rooms!

Dear Guest
Thank you for choosing Aquila Atlantis Hotel and for providing us with such positive feedback.

It is evident from your comments that you enjoyed your time with us and we are pleased that your expectations were met. Regarding the size of the swimming pool and the facilities available around the pool , as we are a city hotel the size of our pool and bar service does reflect this. Notwithstanding this, I hope that we will have the pleasure of your company again in the future.

Once again thank you for taking the time to leave your comments.

Plus side :
Location right in the city center, 5min walk from the Archeological Museum. Very comfy bedrooms. Beautiful swimming pool with nice sundeck and rooftop. Nice breakfast.

Bad service experience :
Worst staff ever at the desk : we had booked a room with a view on the harbour. we were given a room with view on the street, that smelled cigarette (I am non smoker). The lady at the desk told us there was no other room left (booking.com kept displaying 4 available rooms with harbour view and the hotel didn"t seem packed), and we had trouble changing room, we had to struggle with her. She finally gave us another room, showing us she was angry. we tried to avoid her for the rest of the stay. I saw that it had happened to other guests before, some rooms are labelled "harbour view" but aren't.

Room tip: Be careful, some rooms are labeled "harbour view" but are not and face a building

Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing the Aquila Atlantis Hotel and for taking the time to provide your very valuable feedback.

I am delighted that there were clearly so many aspects of our facilities which met with your expectations. I was sorry to learn however, that there were aspects of service you received from our staff that left you disappointed. The feedback that we receive from the vast majority of our guests is overwhelmingly positive and so your comments will be fed-back to my team for training purposes.

I do hope to have the chance to welcome you again in our hotel, in order to experience our even more improved services.

Kindest regards
