We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and its just amazing. Our room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the fortress. The apartment has a historic feeling about it but everything in the apartment is brand new. The owner Katerina has been lovely both before and during our stay and Konstantinos gave us great information about the room and the town. Everyone has been so helpful and nice. Me and my husband are both working in hotels and we really recommend this place. One of the best places we stayed in.

We stayed one night in the newest room of the hotel, and we had a great time! Everything was beautiful, neat - and the house itself with all its history is amazing!
The hotel is very close to the center, but the street is still very quiet.
The owners are amazing too!

Katarina very welcoming, perfect location to explore the old town. We were ground floor but the 2 lots of double glazed windows stopped any 'town noise'. Shower leaked a bit but we were not doing the cleaning, plenty of hot water, welcome bottle of wine as it was my husbands birthday....lovely touch.......we live in Crete but will stay here again, as good price for the location.

We've just stayed at Casa dei Delfini for 6 nights over Christmas, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Situated in the picturesque Old Town, the apartments are beautifully renovated and luxuriously equipped. We were toasty warm in spite of the horrible weather thanks to the room heater, the hot water was copious, the shower was powerful, clean towels every day and the bottle of wine and bakery goodies from Katerina were very welcome. Many thanks to Katerina for making our stay so comfortable - you have a beautiful set of holiday apartments!

This quaint hotel is located within the historic old city of Rethymno, Crete. It can be tricky to find in the warren of narrow streets - as a warning, there is no way to get a car to the door or park there. Instead, a car needs to be parked in nearby public car parks.

The rooms are large and with small kitchenettes that contain a fridge, kettle and stove. The beds are firmly comfortable and large. I had a room which overlooked the street, but was lovely and quiet.

The staff were warm and helpful. We were greeted on arrival with a local bottle of wine. They gave us recommendations for a fantastic bakery (Φούρνος του Νύκταρη), fruit shop and restaurants. Also for a good sheltered place to swim in winter!

The hotel is in close proximity to good restaurants such as Raki Baraki and Μπακαλογατοσ. Nearby sights include the waterfront, the Fortezza, the gardens and museums. Day trips like Arkadi monastery were easily within reach from here.

The old city itself is full of shops, restaurants and bars, with an island flavour. I would highly recommend this location as a result, and Casa De Delfini was the perfect little place from which to explore it all.
