Mandraki, Elias is a quiet beach, about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Kuokounaries via a shaded footpath through the pine forest. The last part of the walk turns into a "road"which was ruined somewhat by the Chavs on their hired quad bikes kicking up the fine dust oblivious to the health risks they are creating behind them. The beach itself is a sweeping bay with clear, shallow, warm water. The right side of the beach tends to be naturist, which apart from the odd pervs and the narcissistic poseurs poncing up and down the shore line wearing nothing but mirror shades and a semi, it's respectful.
Take your own snacks and water and you wont need to move all day.

There is a 20 walk form bus stop 23 through pine forests and fig trees but once completed this is a great beach and very quiet. Umbrellas and loungers(2) are 8 euros per day which is the same over the Island. Good snack bar which sells fantastic fried potatoes

Nice beach and quieter than others due to no tours or boat tours showing up here. The Taverna is a bit slow and the person apparently shouted our name to collect our food but we were on the seats furthest away and didn't hear her. Only got our food after going back and asking where it was and her saying she'd given it away. But hey ho.

Marvelous beach that can be reached by car/bike (there is a parking area) or by feet (~20 min walk from bus stop 23 through pine forest).
There is a bar on the beach and a lot of sun beds (€8 per two chairs and an umbrella) as well as showers.

Although it's a nice walk through the forest, I don't understand all the fuss over this beach! It was very busy and covered in piles of seaweed. Maybe it was the time of year (end of August) but we left feeling very disappointed after reading all the good reviews on here it was nothing like what we were expecting.
