A week in Olivia 2 at the end of a busy 3 week holiday through Europe was just what my family needed. The infinity pool had enticed me to book the villa and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived the light blue pool set against the greeny-blue sea and the azure-blue sky was mesmerising. The villa itself is extremely luxurious with no detail forgotten. There is a daily maid service - friendly and unobtrusive and excellent for making your teenagers tidy up a bit! Roula, the owner, met us at the port to lead us to the villa. She also responded quickly when we had a query about hot water and gave us good recommendations for beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. Wifi excellent. Top class villa. Thoroughly recommended.

Situated on a hill, amidst olive trees, the sea far below and a panoramic view of the islands of Skopelos and Alonnisos is the Villa Olivia 2 which we shared with our son and daughter-in-law and their two little girls aged 5 1/2 and 2 1/2 years. It was a dream holiday, far from the noise and bustle of Skiathos town yet not too far from a supermarket and bakery. An excellent taverna called Anatoli, serving creative and delicious Greek cuisine at a reasonable price is also close by.
Our accommodation was exceedingly comfortable and our en suite bedroom was just a little apart from the other two bedrooms which were occupied by the girls and their parents. The beds were comfortable and the linen changed half-way through our 6 day stay. It was also great having a dishwasher and washing machine, especially as we had children with us.
We greatly enjoyed the outdoor living space with its little barbecue and beautiful pool and had a good size fridge in the kitchen as well as stove and oven. The house was cleaned on a daily basis except for the Sunday.
The owner was exceedingly helpful and on arrival, we really appreciated the little supply of basic groceries consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, eggs, butter, bread, jam, fruit juice, water, cold turkey and cheese - great!
We had a wonderful 6 days in Skiathos during which we could explore the beauties of the island at leisure. It was indeed a memorable holiday!
