One day in Odense and the place is closed. Read the fine print. Quaint but over hyped. Not really worth the effort. Anything that is open closes at 5pm.

This is an interesting museum with some good artefacts. Tip: you can buy a ticket here which includes entry to 5 different Anderson related places in the town; it also includes a map showing the way you need to walk.

The Museum holds many original photos of HC Andersen; also original drawings, diaries, writings and poetry; a lot of written facts, plus ways to interact with th8ngs electronically

The ticket include 5 other stops which makes it worthwhile. The city is all about H.C.A., but the museum does explain a great deal that we didn't know before. There is a lot of reading so plan on taking your time. Montergarden which is one of the 4 others place we thought was fascinating. The town has lots of parking if you have a car so parking isn't a problem, Just get a city map and parking areas are marked on it.
