Ate here for dinner with colleagues having been recommended by hotel. Lovely location (touristy but then we were tourists). Food was excellent. Fish (herring) 3 ways to start - amazing. Delicious and substantial. Then I had cod main and colleagues had plaice. Also generous portions and good quality.

Let down somewhat on the beer/wine selections as out of stock of first choices (weather has been unseasonably hot so maybe unprepared). Staff lovely and very helpful

Would return in future if we travel here again

Lovely setting on the harbour side. Very good food. I had a huge plaice, very fresh. My husband had a really thick piece of filet, very tender. The smorkke Brod starter was very good too.
I finished with hot elderflower as they didn’t do decaf. Very pleasant. Waitresses friendly.
It is quite expensive but that’s to be expected in this location

Stopped here after a long stroll down the Stroget from our hotel. It was a random choice, nice patio and had ordered food and beverages before we noticed the sign that said it was established in 1694! 3 of our party ordered Danish beer and one Aperol Spritz, and lunch was Smørrebrød, 2 smoked cheese 1 chicken salad and one fried herring with capers. All very very good and nice restful break from the busy traffic on Nyhaven. Excellen lunch, rest and a bit of history.

Quite a few places were closed on a Sunday, but Heering was not, took a booking at fairly short notice; we were made welcome and were pleasantly surprised by the menu. The site is great, service was friendly and efficient. Prices Danish, so are never going to come in at value for money. Some good wines and beer on the list. Altogether a good evening.

My husband and daughter were looking for a place to eat dinner on a Sunday night. We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was splendid and we couldn't have felt more welcomed. We would highly recommend a visit anytime period plus, they have a very cute dog!
