Spacious hotel, excellent breakfast and great staff

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jun 14, 2023via mobile
Very convenient to the rail into city. It's a spacious, clean hotel with local modern artwork on display. There's a restaurant (we did not eat there) and the buffet breakfast was extensive and fresh. The room was small but clean and efficient though the window latch did not work. There's a bit of noise from the light rail. It's so easy to get to the city or the airport with trains leaving every few minutes. Clean, safe, good stay and totally helpful staff who charged our phones for us.
Date of stay: June 2023
Room Tip: If you want total quiet, get a room on the other side from light rail.

Stayed here 1 night coming into town and have booked for the night we fly out in a couple weeks. Location close to airport is excellent (not walking distance but) 4 minutes on metro for about $3 with a 1 minute walk from tram station to hotel. All staff was really friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was Fantastic! Room size was bigger than the very small norms in Scandinavia and if I had more time, would have jumped in the pool and hot tub. Nearby Coast area with map in the lobby if you want to walk or run is just a few minutes away on foot and there is an old fort you can see. Access to downtown centre is really fast and easy with the metro.

On the downside, hotel was clean, but a little well used/tired, and in the summer, if you have the window open because no AC (like everywhere, you get a bit of noise in. Bed was comfy, but really should have asked for an extra pillow.

Room tip: If you are jet lagged, they start breakfast at 6 AM and coffee/tea in the room.

We started our trip to Denmark off with a four night stay at the Park Inn By Radisson Copenhagen Airport. You catch the train at the airport and five minutes later, you get off at the Femoren Street metro station and the hotel is just on the left. So you may think, that close to the metro line, it must be noisy. We were there for four nights, and we were not disturbed by any noises. It was a good place to get caught up on jet lag, etc. and it is only about fifteen minutes from the city centre. If you are in Copenhagen for any length of time, consider buying a City Transit pass. You can purchase one at the airport before you get on the train. Check out their website before hand and decide on which one is best for you. The number of days you will be needing it, the number of zones that you will be travelling through, etc. or , you may also consider purchasing the Copenhagen Card. This allows you unlimited transportation on the trains, buses, as well as free admission to over eighty attractions and museums, and discounts to restaurants and sightseeing excursions, etc.
We spent our five days in Copenhagen visiting with friends and family, but we also had the time to visit some of our personal favorite places.
A new place that we never been to before, was Orstedparken. This city park is built upon a section of the fortification ring that was constructed around Copenhagen in the 1600's.
Amager Beach Park is also just a short walk away.
The hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast which was included in our room rate was delicious and more than ample.
We are planning to stay here again, soon!

Stayed over night at the hotel due to close proximity to Copenhagen Airport. It is 2 stops away from the airport by metro and the metro station is right next to the hotel which is very convenient.

Considering the price I had expected more, the furniture in the rooms are dated, air condition doesn't work (it was very warm when I arrived during spring and had to open the windows to cooldown the room, I cannot imagine how bad it must be during the summer), I found dust in the corners of the room and on topside of the furniture, lastly I was greeted by dead bugs in the bathroom.

At the very least the bed was clean.

It's fine for a overnight stay but reconsider hotel if your stay is longer than a single night.

We are returning guests to this hotel that is perfectly located next to metro station two stops from the airport and only a little longer to Copenhagen city centre. The restaurant has a small but very good dinner menu and the quality is indeed value for money. A good breakfast buffet ensures that you get a great start of the day.

My stay at this hotel has been nothing but great which makes me wonder if I am reviewing the right hotel according to those extreme bad reviews. I think people are forgetting that this is an airport hotel and not a resort or the Ritz Carleton.

The room I had was extremely clean and spacious. I had no issue in getting an extra pillow and blanket. Most of the staff was excellent apart from a gentleman that seemed to be a bit on the edge. The pool was nice and clean even though I'd keep the temperature of the water a bit warmer. A mini-fridge would have been welcomed in the room as food items sold by the hotel were very expensive. The Salt and Pepper restaurant located in this hotel is unfortunately highly expensive but highly delicious... I think I have never had such a tasty burger before. When booking, I strongly suggest to include the breakfast during your stay. This specific location is extremely convenient as it's about not even 5 minutes walk from the subway station.

On overall, I strongly suggest this hotel to people with limited means of transportation and who likes a quieter place.
