The rooms especially are a little bit worn and could use an update. Our door didn't lock on its own, and other rooms apparently had the same problem, as we accidentally walked into someone else's room one floor below ours (luckily, they were dressed). The decor of the rooms is unimpressive, but I guess you don't go to Copenhagen for the hotel rooms anyway.
The breakfast buffet was good, and staff was mostly friendly and helpful.
The best thing about this hotel without a doubt is the location, very close to Nyhavn and especially super cool Christianshavn (wonderful cycling bridge, Copenhagen street food, DAC, Copenhagen Contemporary & Christiania). Having explored pretty much all of Copenhagen on various visits, I can't think of any area I would rather be staying in.More
