I always stay here when visiting Copenhagen, very friendly and helpful staff, sadly no bar facilities and restaurant is 3rd party with no guaranteed access or room service for hotel guests if the restaurant is busy....be warned.!

Very warm and noisy room, no aircon and windows facing the atrium and no cool are flows in! There was also a party on the first floor, very low people and music
Breakfest bread and cheese selection very low standard

We are located in a historical building with rooms facing the back yard, inner court yard and the street. We are sorry to learn you did not enjoy the room - as mentioned to you previously we are truly sorry you did not approach the reception during your stay in order for us to assist you with another room.

The restaurant where the breakfast is served is run and managed by Copenhagen Consultant Group - we will inform their management team about your comments and are truly sorry you did not have a good experience visiting the restaurant.

We hope - despite this experience we have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future at FIRST Hotels.

So although I didn't stay here overnight, I feel compelled to share my experience of this Hotel as a non-resident customer:
Arrived here for post-dinner drinks and purchased a bottle of Montepulciano from the Hotel's Italian Restaurant. It was not cheap. As the restaurant was closing we were kindly told that we could finish the bottle in the Hotel lobby (which is very nice), so we made our way there. We enquired what we should do with it once we finish, we were told to leave it for "Room Service" to clear.
We proceed to enjoy the wine in the lobby, and as we are on the last few sips, the Night Receptionist (or Manager) comes over to tell us we should move somewhere else as we can't make noise in the lobby (we weren't, we were just talking). Before we get the chance to ask him where we should move, he disappears in a back of house area.
As we didn't feel like moving everything somewhere else, we decide to take a larger-than-usual sip and finish our drinks and proceed to leave the hotel. Front door is locked, the guy is nowhere to be seen.
We decide to kill some time by popping to the lavatories, upon our return to the lobby the guy reappears and asks us if we "left that mess there", referring to the empty bottle and wine glasses. We tell him the Restaurant told us Room Service would clear it. We are told "no, they finished for the day, you have to clear it yourself". The guy disappears in the same back-of-house area before we can ask him where he wants us to take it.
As we are still locked in the Hotel, we have no option but to do as he says, so we take the bottle and glasses through the same door, trying to find where we should leave them. So I had a bit of a wander round the kitchen area and closed restaurant looking for this guy so I can ask him to let us out now that we have "fulfilled our duties"!
We eventually find him and ask him graciously if we can leave the damn Hotel, he opens the door for us. Great.

I do appreciate that you liked the ambience of the hotel, however, I do apologize if you were misinform about where to be seated after hours, since you choosed our closed Atrium Garden at this time with respect for other guests, the Library Salon next to the restaurant are always open. Our Main Entrance to the hotel are, as well always open for departure, but during night closed for entrance.
Of course should not our guests, resident or not, clearing their own tables with items belonging to the restaurant or the hotel after using our facilitites.

I am sorry that you did not have the experience you expected and for sharing this, as well as a non-resident guest.

This hotel is a must for the easy traveller. I went for a weekend and it was fantastic. The bed was soooo comfortable that I slept as soon as my head hit the pillow. The bathroom was quite bog for a European hotel and the service was fantastic. I would recommend it for anyone who likes to stay in the heart of the city.

Oversll the hotel was good, but they could improve on the cleaning. The hotel's location is excellent; the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the restaurant as well.
