I agree with the others as far as the area this hotel is in. You have to be careful which way you leave the hotel. Other than that the hotel is very central. Easy walking distance to Tivoli and central shopping district. we were able to walk everywhere in Copenhagen. Our room was extremely small but very clean. We had nowhere to hang clothes or to put our luggage. There were no amenities in the bathroom such as shampoo, rinse or lotion. We stayed on a higher floor facing the courtyard as was recommended on Trip Advisor. People in the courtyard partied all night and were very loud. We had to close our windows every night which made the room warm. They should limit the hours that the courtyard can be used. Breakfast was very good with a large dining area to eat and plenty of choices. There was always some hot selections along with fresh fruit, pastries, breads, herring and many other things to choose from. We never went away hungry. People at the front desk were extremely helpful.

The rooms were compact and clean - no drawers to store clothes. There was no air conditioning which was needed with temperatures in the mid 20s. The rooms were very stuffy and it was difficult to sleep. We could not open the windows due to the level of street noise. We booked 6 months ago and specifically asked for quiet rooms. However, we had rooms next to the "annex" which was just an extension along the corridor. Rooms in the annex had shared WCs and showers and guests were in and out until the early hours with doors continuously slamming. We did not sleep before 2:30am all week. The breakfast was enjoyable. On our last night the district was invaded by tens of thousands of young people and makeshift stages with live music for one of a week long evenings of street parties around Copenhagen. It was difficult to walk in the streets with the numbers of teenagers, so we took refuge in the Tivoli Gardens for our final evening meal.

Room tip: Make sure you are well away from the "annex" so you don't get doors slamming all night!

Thank you for your helpful review. We have had a few really hot days in Copenhagen, and we are sorry that you just stayed during the warmest days. Unfortunately, only our Superior rooms have A/C. We have not previously had any complaints on the Annex guests being noisy. You did stay on the night of Distortion, a local music festival taking place in the streets. As this is a popular festival (and quite noisy) we informed all our guests prior to Distortion, that we had earplugs for free in the reception. We are truly sorry that you did not have a good nights sleep. Hopefully you will be back in Copenhagen on a cooler day next time.

Good location a few minutes walk from the train station and not far to the main shopping street and bars/restaurants. It is in the red light district but we didn't find that to be a problem. Breakfast was fine.

No AC is a problem - we got a reduced rate but if people we're paying the normal rate I think they would expect AC! Very hot room, noisy with the windows open from 6am despite having a courtyard facing room.

We also asked for additional pillows as we were only given one each which was very thin. We were brought up one because the night receptionist didn't know where they were kept supposedly. The next morning we asked for an additional pillow and were told they had none.

Staff weren't very friendly, quite abrupt but did the job!

Overall an average hotel.

Staying here for 2 nights. Ideally located just a stone's throw from Copenhagen Central Station, which is easily reached by train from the airport. Yes it was hot on our visit, and no air-con but then who does in their home unless you live in an extremely hot country!! We had a room facing the court yard, which meant it was fairly quiet, general hotel noise - people coming back to rooms quite late but nothing out of the ordinary. The weather was hot and probably a lot hotter than normal so you had to keep windows open!

Hotel really smart, room was Original and plenty big enough for a few nights. Good modern bathroom, good lighting and mirrors etc. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Area not the best but we didn't have any problems with anyone. Enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen - used the HopOn/Off bus and boat to see the sights.

Hotels in Copenhagen are very expensive. We could have walked to the Hilton airport location and paid over $400. Instead we stayed here with a hot wire deal and paid around $130. The cab ride is around $40 and uber is around $30,but the savings was worth the extra effort. The staff was very pleasant and unlike us in the USA, the Danish are taught to speak English as a second language. The room was small, but clean. The location is walking distance to trivoli and the train. It is a colorful neighborhood with sex shops and women walking the streets. The hotel had a luggage room which is a nice touch. We took advantage while we did the hop off, hop on bus tour while waiting for our afternoon flight. The hotel was acceptable and I would stay again.
