This is a great place! Even in the dead of winter, the boat was warm, great interior design and clean, a perfect retreat from the normal hotel. There are only 4 rooms on the boat so you will have to plan ahead and book early. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time as guests on the boat.
If you have a hard time moving around you may not want to book here. There are steep stairs you must climb up and down to get to the rooms. Also pack light - It is hard lugging bags up and down.

My husband and I stayed in the recently inaugurated suite for 3 nights in July and it was the coolest thing we did in Stockholm. We loved it lots, and though the space was smaller than a traditional hotel room, there was more than we needed storage space, the bed was huge, we had a big roof window, air con, a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, wooden floor, hair dryer and towel dryer in the bathroom. The whole ship looked spotless, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful during the whole duration of our stay. The rooms feature some very smart interior design in maritime style and we never missed anything. The breakfast was healthy and tasty and covered all the basics. Loved it!

My son and me spent 3 day here during the November school acations. And it was interesting experience ! Especially for my son. We book a room in 2 months before. The room with one big bed. It was small ( as i'm sure others) but not ordinary. It was interesting to stay on Bowen the ship. Very polite and professional Administrator Sussy who is responsible for everything. Breakfast not rich but with cornflakes , sandwiches, yougurt - ok. The only thing you can check in and out only till 13-00. Not comfortable

We do a bit of sailing and thought it would be fun to stay here without the effort of sailing!!! It was fitted like an ordinary hotel inside. It was clean and inviting with TV, wi-fi etc There was a coffee machine and you could sit in the dining area to relax. The boat is quite near 2 different tunnelbana stops so it was easy to get to Stockholm city and museums. Our room had 4 single beds and an attached bathroom and there was no problem with water or power. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Room Tip: There are only a few rooms on the boat. We had room no.2 which had an attached bathroom and can slee...

We stayed two nights on the M/S Monika. There are four rooms on that boat. Our room was very nice, the bathroom ultra clean with a nice big shower. They even have TV and WLAN on the boat, unbelievable. The breakfast is lovely as is the hotel. The location is quite good. There are two subway stations in walking distance with the lines that go directly to T-Centralen and Gamla Stan. Only downside: there is only a small roof window to get fresh air in. But besides that I loved it.

Room Tip: Try to get room 1, 2 or 3, then you don't need to get outside to go to the breakfast room.

Travelling to Stockholm on business, and was delighted to stay at this most unusual but very comfortable hotel. Staff were very accommodating, coming in to make breakfast early as I had an early start the next day. Would certainly stay here again, and recommend it for anyone visiting Stockhom
