Great and atypical place to stay, on a central location in the city of Stockholm. As I arrived rather late, it was some kind of a quest to get in (with codes, padlocks and hidden doors), but then I discovered my most charming, clean and cosy room. The breakfast the next morning was also top. Just don't forget to bring earplugs, as the ventilation and water system can be somewhat noisy ...

we stayed one night with our two children. they loved the experience to sleep on a boat! the 4-bed room was spacious, very clean, free DVDs, and very speedy internet (which you know is the most important when you have teenage kids :) breakfast is included and is excellent. the location is good, you can walk downtown or catch the T within a 10min walk. the value for money, especially in Stockholm, is unbeatable, so overall highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again!

Quite an enjoyable experience, our children loved it and it was an adventure for all of us, not every day you get to sleep on a boat, would recommend to others. Breakfast was good and served at a time you choose, within serving hours. Arriving later in the day, the directions given to access the boat and room are easy to follow, but if you prefer to be greeted by staff, suggest arrive at normal check in time.
Only negative, in the 4 bunk room, the upper bunks do not have a safety rail, so not so good for small children.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The Double Deluxe Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I really liked the whole boat setting, making it a unique experience. You have to pass a steep ladder to go to the rooms though, so please consider it (big luggage, babies and elderlies not recommended). Another issue is the wifi. It's available in the common room and Room 1-3 but not the deluxe room, which is a pity considering it's the most expensive one. Breakfast is included and filling. All in all, it was a great experience!

I stayed at the M/S Monika for one night and I enjoyed the night. Very silent, very characteristic, however you must be prepared for some discomfort: rooms are not the same on a boat. However, the double was large enough, it had a power shower, no no big deal, and the breakfast was very good. Recommended for those who like this sort of things!

Room Tip: Double at the bow is good and has space.
