It was a little expensive for the size, BUT always have to consider it IS a big city. The rooms are underground which I think many hotels are like because of the LONG sunlight hours during the summer. It's nice that it is dark at night, but too long in a room without a window can get to you. Despite it being very small, the room was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay in Stockholm. The city is gorgeous. The bathroom facilities were fantastic. Great shower. The location was perfect for us as we attended TBEX! I really liked how they made the breakfast packable (wrapped sandwiches, apples, yoghurts) so you could actual take it on the go. The parking was a bit of a hassle to find but once we did it was also VERY close!

The rooms were clean even if they were small. I found the bunk beds cute and comfortable. There aren't any windows though since all the rooms are in the basement of the hotel. On the outside it looks like a cafe and when you enter the rooms are downstairs.

It says that breakfast is included but breakfast was really bad. REALLY BAD. That had croissants and they were OK, if you put Nutella on them you didn't notice that they were dry. But the sandwiches were horrible. It felt as though they were made the day before and not sold and therefore given to the guests. The salad was old and so was the cheese. There are fruits to be had and coffee though so it helped wash it all down somehow, but it wasn't a good breakfast at all. So do not book this hotel instead of another one based solely on the included breakfast because it's not worth it.

Otherwise, clean, relatively quiet and the personell was helpful most of the time.

I was looking for a over night place. My only concern was to be left alone and have a privacy.
Got a small single room with private bathroom with fresh bed linen, a TV and spent 13 hours there.
The room smelled a bit of an old ash tray as someone has smoked there.
Sure it was a bit creepy to know that the room was under ground with no windows and some loud ppl had parties until midnight with their door open.
Could hear the neighbour sneeze too.
The bathroom was functional with nice shower and zink. Smelled mould though, but with the door closed it did not disturbed me unless I used the bathroom.
Free Wi-Fi and TV. What else to one need for just one night?
Never bother to try the breakfast.
The location is directly on the busy shopping street of Drottninggatan, which is a walking street with loads of tourists.
I know they usually take high price for the stay, but I got over last minute room for only 500 KR that night, so to me it was perfect.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed!! Had booked for 4 people, but our reservation was changed to 3. Arrived late - aprox 11:30PM and we told that four of us had to sleep in one double bed. Ended up getting an extra roll-away bed brought in, but not before we had to fight for it. Also asked for another room but were told they had nothing available :( The room smelled nasty but since it was so late and we were travelling with children we decided to try it. An hour later the scratching in the walls and the scampering in the ceiling started..... We rested as well as we could until the morning and then confronted the receptionist. We were told the rats were from a nearby restaurant and not from the hotel. They had also just had the room re-approed for use. We demanded a refund. Were told the manager had to come to process the refund and that they would "call us" to come back to complete it. We refused to leave before we had the receipt in hand and then they could suddenly fixed it........ There is no way we would have gotten out if there had been a fire!!! Think twice before you book this place......

This dungeon in the basement, without proper ventilation, literally have rats scampering around in the ceiling. This is in contravention of the the rule, proudly displayed on the website - "No Pets!!!".

The rooms are substandard drywall partitions, with no sound proofing and is a dangerous fire trap. I honestly so not know how this passed the very strict building codes of Sweden.

Luckily the bunk beds are made of thin wood strutts and with a very thin mattress, which reduced the noise levels at night, because people never achieved REM sleep. With the thin walls snoring and other noises would have been a problem.

When we reported the rats in the ceiling, the staff acknowledged that they were aware of it and they had the problem in the past. But nothing was done about it and they were not prepared to give us a refund on our pre-paid booking.

In short: overpriced, unsafe, infested and a total ripp off. Stockholm Inn Hotel is neither and must be closed down. Book at another place - you will get better service and value for less money. Do not book this rat hole - and this is meant literally.
