Owner description: ABBA The Museum is more than an ordinary museum. Naturally, the members’ costumes, gold records, original items, memorabilia, and much, much more are here. But at this museum you are an important part of the experience! We simply want you to experience the feeling of being the 5th ABBA member. To find out what you would look like in their legendary stage costumes, to sing at the Polar Studio, to experience exciting 3D avatars, and to enter the stage together with the band.

If you are of the age that you remember ABBA, this museum is great fun! Not far from the Vasa Museum, you can easily combine a visit to these two during the same day.

You'll enter the museum through a music-themed hotel, buy your ticket at the desk, and proceed downstairs. There are free lockers and coat racks, which are very handy. There is probably a special exhibit at the very start of the museum. Ours was about guitars used by famous artists and was very interesting.

Once inside, you will find the museum is highly interactive. You can make a recording, sing on stage, and dance along with ABBA. There are quizzes and lots of information about each ABBA member. A nice display of gold and other albums, as well as costumes, will come at the end of your visit.

Have a blast!

We excepted a bigger more prominent building. The entrance to the museum was kind of "well where is it", we could see there is a small restaurant to the right side of the museum and asked somebody where is the entrance. The audio did not work and where to go next once inside was not that clear for us. But when you see them, when you hear them, the songs, those days clothes, you were back at the 1970's and you have to buy a CD.... There are many other places to visit near the ABBA museum, so allow enough time.

Very well designed and presented museum. Fantastic mixture of entertainment and education. Every true ABBA fan should find a way to come and see it! I was looking forward to my visit a nd I was not disappointed. The cafe is also quite cozy and welcoming - great place to chill out.

I love abba and was really looking forward to the abba experience. Don't bother if you've seen BBC documentary or if you have the albums. You'll already have had your abba experience. Costumes weren't real as different colours. Interactive stuff - some were kaput. 250skr not worth spent

...you’ll love it.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a interesting story, and it’s a interesting museum. But if you don’t have a close relation to ABBA it a bit too much.

And I feel ssoooooooooo sorry for the poor schmucks that work there! Imagine being brainwashed with Mama Mia, Waterloo and so on each day, all day!! Total torture imo.

Anyways, if you dig ABBA, or even if you dig pop music, you’ll totally dig this.
