Just stayed there with the family for 2 weeks. We had 3 rooms next to each other including suite 201. Really comfortable and good breakfast. Uppsala does not have nice hotels however this small boutique hotel is well located within walking distance of most sites and restaurants, and is the best hotel in Uppsala by far. Staff is really obliging to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended and will return.

We stayed for one night in this wonderful Hotel. This was their first day open after the summer break and after a small hitch with our original room, their was a sewerage smell in the bathroom we were immediately offered another room of the highest quality. The rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. The staff, particularly Felix were very attentive and could not do enough for us. The Hotel is next to the beautiful Cathedral and a short walk to the riverside where there are some lovely bars and restaurants. If you are looking to stay in Uppsala then I strongly recommend Hotel Villa Anna.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 303.

We arrived at 11:00 and grabbed the last parking space at the side of the hotel. Our room was unbelievably ready, which was fantastic. It was a lovely deluxe double overlooking the Holy Trinity Church. Large bed, sofa and chair, desk, fridge-style mini bar, wall-mounted TV. Bathroom with claw foot bath, separate shower, heated towel rail, Missoni toiletries, night light. Beautiful decor and windows on two sides. No sockets or light on one side of the bed. Wifi free and fast. TV controlled from pad, which also turns it round to face either the bed or the sofa! Curtains and blackouts, but room still quite light. Hairdryer is the type where you need to keep a finger on the button. Shower is good.
The location is excellent, just behind the cathedral and a short walk to the centre. Breakfast is a nice buffet of cold items, toast and a limited menu of hot items - the bacon and (one) fried egg was very good.

Beautiful property, located just behind Northern Europe's largest Cathedral, in a quit quarter just a short walk away from Uppsala City Center. The property has only 11 rooms, well decorated with advance fixtures.
You would expect personal touch for a property of this quality. But unfortunately this doesn't exist. No welcoming, no recognition of your name. (despite few rooms)
No assistance with luggage nor showing the amenities and function of the room upon arrival.
The hotel has a nice location and a small outdoor terrace, which is perfect but there is nobody attending it! We had to run in and ask for help, while almost the entire hotel team were sitting on two tables for a lunch or break!
Breakfasts are Ok, but limited. Poached eggs or white egg omelette are not in the menu and they refuse to serve anything else than what is on the menu. Pancakes are over steak and burned, so we ordered again, but had to wait 15 minutes.
Upon check out, no recognition, and no hope to see you back again.
Sorry to see such gorgeous property being managed this way.
Also note that there are only 4 parking slots for the 11 rooms! And hotel doesn't give any other options!
So unfortunately I have to reduce the stars to 3 only, but if better managed with a crew focusing on the guests it would easily be a 4-5 star boutique hotel.

Room Tip: Come early for parking
