This hotel is situated just next to the Railway station and close to buses and trams. Modern and updated hotel but quite dark. Rooms have carpets that are not very clean. Room size average. No pens and stationary in room! Long waits at front desk due to shortage of staff. Room was left without cleaning on several occations despite door sign. Not enough staff in general at this hotel to provide good service. On the bright side...Breakfast was good with several options although it was not ready on time.
Sorry Clarion Post...will not stay here again..

It amazes me that a hotel so large can still make guests feel special, yet the Clarion Post achieves this effortlessly.
The Clarion Post is a unique and memorable experience from the moment you enter the lobby where a crushed postal van adorns the wall. A stunning and seamless blend of new and old await you after passing through the entrance situated in the old part of the building.
Our standard double room was in the new building at the rear and offered a very spacious and comfortable room. Everything was clean and well presented.
Breakfast was one of the best we experienced during our Scandinavian tour and that's a very high compliment indeed as there was stiff competition for that honour.
The location was as good as it gets. We caught the train from Stockholm, walked out of the central station and there was the Clarion Post right in front of us. It doesn't get any better than that.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and it gets a well deserved 5 star from me!
