Description: VRÅ – A MEETING SPOT FOR CURIOUS FOOD LOVERS Imagine having one foot here on the West Coast, and one in Japan. That's roughly how we want you to feel when you step in here. Like the environment is familiar and a little exciting at the same time. More than anything, we want you to feel well taken care of and comfortable. And hungry, of course. The menu has something for everyone, but the focus is on food from the sea and the plant world. The seasonal ingredients are almost always local. We usually get the methods and inspiration from Japan. We work sustainably, traceably, organically and have chosen to follow nature instead of trying to tame it. The season may determine what comes in through the kitchen entrance. Therefore, the menu changes depending on the season, and sometimes it even varies a little from day to day. No two nights at VRÅ are the same, but every morning is the same. We start the day with the goal of offering every guest a fantastic experience. Welcome!

We were a group of three who had the 4 course menu, ended up paying around 720sek for the whole meal. Very cheap when thinking about what excellent service we had.

I would like to thank Jacob who was our host that evening. He really made sure that we all had a great time, knew everything about our wines/sake/tea etc... He managed to be really informative yet exciting when presenting the food. 5/5 superb experience, would definitley go again!

Immaculate service, friendly without being fuzzy. The Chef's Choice menu is great. Excellent product quality, brilliant interpretation/variation of a number of "basics" of japanese cuisine. Perfect combination with various beverages.

A very nice, small, and ambient restaurant within Clarion hotel. Nice atmosphere and just a few tables.
Small menu, and I went for 6 pieces of sushi first, which were delicious. 4 nigiri and 2 rolls, all in smaller sizing, so easy to eat.
Then I had their miso with sprouts, which had flavor of apple as well. Nice, but I prefer the tradtional taste.
Had some more sushi and then I had Chirachi sushi; Sushi rice, salad and crispy crudités of the season, pickled mushroom and sesame mayonnaise with
Sashimi; salmon, char and flounder (I think). It was a very nice dish and a good size.
For dessert I had one of the best desserts I have ever had, and I usually do not order dessert; Sweet and salt Cream cheese and soy caramel ice cream, plums and caramel roasted buckwheat. It was so good I almost ordered a second one. Crunch was there, salty, caramel....they really nailed the flavors there and it was the perfect ending to a very nice meal.
I would say its very good, but not close to a star in the Guide. Worth trying.
