The quality of the fish was really good, and all of the seafood in general, I personally enjoyed the langoustines and the gratin.

I tried to make a reservation online 3 days ahead, but the system couldn’t do it for me. That’s why I came here with my family as a drop inn on Saturday lunch. They had plenty of available tables outside, but pointed to us the high tables on the right hand side in the patio. It was 5 of us: 4 adults and a child, but it didn’t mater to them. When I asked to move us on the available table - the server - very rude and angry lady started to scream on me that I have to wait because I didn’t reserved a table and she has to check what’s available. I said that I can wait and I didn’t mean to force her, I was just asking if I may! She pointed on the table right in front of the bar, which was fine for us. We sat down and never get any of the servers to come to our table and take the order. So I had to go to the bar and order it from there, same with main course and drinks.
On the menu says that all of the sea food dishes must be served with a bread and butter - we never got any of those, besides the little peas of garlic bread with a fish soup. All other customers were having basket of bread and a butter on the side. I had a feeling that they hate Norwegian people, because that’s what we were speaking to them and having unprofessional attitude for no reason at all. However those who reserved table, had a good service and attention all the time. Even though I had a bad service, I spend 1400 skr that day because I was hungry and red a lot of good reviews on TA. I didn’t mind to spend more money, but the servers weren’t interesting to take it at all.
Owner must be aware of the lady-server, who works outside, she shouldn’t be working with people at all. I am restaurant manager myself and believe me I would not let it happened in my restaurant!
The food was nice, but that’s about it. You can sell bad food with a nice service, but it is very hard to do it opposite!
The only nice person they had is a lady who worked inside that day - she was the only one who smiled and really wanted to help us.

We enjoyed a wonderfully delicious lunch in the back. We ordered the fish soup and salmon. Both were amazing! We voted this as our favorite stop on our 10 day journey through Denmark Sweden and Norway! When in Haga - GO! Also #1 on YELP.

A small, bustling but comfortable restaurant with good atmosphere and amazing food. The service was great as well. Well worth the money. All in all a perfect evening.
