We were 4 days in this hotel. Good rooms and an enjoyabel breakfast. Only a few minutes from the central station (trains from the airport ends there all 15 or 20 minutes) and in the city center close to a lot of points of interest.
The empolyers were attentively and friendly.
It a good hotel for a city trip to helsinki.

Very good location in the city center, very close to the airport bus station and railway station, Forum shopping center on the same street. The room at 5th floor was small, but very comfortable and functional, nice breakfast. Few dishes for dinner, but very tasty!
Amazing view at 12th floor bar.

Room Tip: Rooms at upper floors are quiet and comfortable, some have very nice view.

For the cost of a room I would have expected a lot more. I had an upgrade on checking in but my room was so cramped and I couldn't even walk around the bed. Hardly any room for luggage and space for unpacking clothes. The single bed was comfortable and the room was too small for a double bed. The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was excellent however and the morning breakfast good. WiFi was good. I have stayed in far better hotels previously in Helsinki

Dear Bruce,

Thank you for staying with us and giving us a review.

I am very sorry to hear that the size of a room was bit of a problem for you. I hope that you did contact the reception about the possibility to change to a bigger room though. We have also bigger rooms with a double bed and a view and rooms with even more space downstairs.

Nice to hear that otherwise you enjoyed your stay with us.

Hope to see you again!

Best regards,
Essi

Although situated in a relatively quiet backstreet, the Torni is very central being just 10 minutes on foot from the main railway station and five minutes from the tram stops on busy Mannerheimintie street. The Forum shopping mall, containing every kind of store imaginable, including grocery shops, bars and fast food outlets, is less than a minute from the main door. Attractions such as the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art and the harbourside Market Square are within a 15-minute walking radius.

Reception and other staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. Local advice, maps and information are distributed readily.

Rooms in the tower section cheerfully decorated in bright, light tones and offer some great city views. Memory foam mattresses and a selection of pillows in all rooms ensure a good sleep. Minibars, coffeemakers and kettles are in every room. Some guests might not like the glass walls of some bathrooms.

The Torni's three bars are some of the best-known in Helsinki.

I visited shortly, stayed one night in this hotel.
I like the atmosphere of this hotel. It is old building in nice area of Helsinki, in the centre.
I had the smallest room on 7th floor. Two windows made the room feel bigger and airier, so no problem.
The breakfast was good, the bed was comfy, and everything went smoothly when checking in and out. This area is in a quiet area, so I did sleep well.
