Cafe at the reception is disastrous. I've seen people waiting 20 minutes for the refill of the breakfast buffet (which consisted in cucumber and sticky porridge). And after 10am, even if there are plenty of leftover, it seems the cash machine suddenly magically refuses to sell those breakfast. What a joke!
Beside, camping facilities are old, dirty and largely overpriced.

That camping is very nice and big. There are lot of bungalow and place for camp. I rent a bungalow with sauna and a little living room. The kitchen was a little but anyway it was working well. That camping is in a fantastic position because it's really close to Yyteri Beach (just open the door and cross a little street).

Room tip: Better rent bungalow far of door of camping for feel more relaxed and withou noises

Stayed 4 nights in a tent with family of 4 (toddlers) . Excellent kitchen, dining hall with INSIDE grilling hall, hot showers, baby facilities, kids parks, tennis court etc. Rained hard but indoor facilities really helped ease that pain.

Excellent communal grill spots make for easy 'meet the other campers' moments.

Security seemed ok with robust border fence but doors through fence aren't shut or monitored.

Location is very good.

...but all this is expensive- welcome to a monopoly ;)

Only stayed one night at this site. It is very pleasant. Good pitches for campers and, chalets available, not sure if there is camping but wouldn't be surprised if there is. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Site only 5 minutes walk from the beach (great beach, wishes we could have stayed longer.)

Our shower block was clean and had good facilities. The site is popular with families with young children, plenty of places to play safely.

Very nice spot to spend a night.

We stayed in the camping area for two nights in a tent. The first night was good – the area seemed to mostly have families with children, everything was quiet, the facilities decent and the staff friendly. Even the prices for food and firewood were reasonable, by camping site standards.

However, the second night was much worse. The restaurant right next to the camping site was having a live concert, and the whole camping area was bathed in noise until 1:30 a.m. Worse still, several groups of unruly youngsters were staying in the area, and we had to "enjoy" loud yells, and kiddies walking around with loudspeakers all through the night. Once some drunken jerks even woke us up by shaking our tent while yelling, for reasons unknown. The area theoretically has silent hours between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., but the area security seemed ineffective in silencing the youth. As the area had a lot of families with children as well, it seems unreasonable to expect that all-night partying is "business as usual", so I hope the camping area would step up a bit to enforce its own rules.

So, I'd advise anyone to avoid weekends and check the live schedule of the restaurant, Yyterin Laguuni, before deciding to stay!
