Hi from beautifull Finland from the way back from Noormarkku. I have stayed 2.5 days in the Forester's room in Haviluna. Was a perfect stay.
As first, no locks on the doors, why, when it is a house, where guests are feeling at home (my first experience with no locks on the doors out of my home ever). Room was big, cosy, made in a style you could feel the atmosphere 100 years back (except Wifi, that was not only fast, it was also reaching to nearly all the surroubrings we needed and Wi-Fi was not there 100 years back :) )
No TV, another huge PLUS point, don't watch TV reality, go out and mingle, walk around, do all the beautiful things You do in a forest.
Food excellent and the staff really friendly and professional.
We also went to see Villa Mairea, build 70 years ago and still fantastic cosy time home with inner and outer design, that is still hardly beaten. You know Fallingwater House in Canada? Villa Mairea is inspired by this masterpiece.
Beautifully, functional, need to see..
The gardens planted fantastically, good division between pine forest, grass and open space with other trees.
So long story short, if You plan a business meeting, business social together or anything else like this, You go there. Your business partners and Your employees will be gratefull.
Thank You AA guys, was a great stay

This place has service level and settings. Both are right on the money. We were 13 persons and spent two nights and days at Ruukki surroundings. Best lodging in western Finland. Meetings were held at Villa Ettan. Facilities are up to date, built with taste and quality.

Stayed here for a week, focussing on an extensive work-related writing task. The environment was well suited for this, and the staff were very considerate and understanding concerning my 'mission'.
The meals were simply outstanding. Where else can you have venison that was hunted down on the hotel grounds, not far from the restaurant itself...?

The Ruukki area is very interesting. As a guest, you feel like you're staying in a historical setting. I enjoyed the guided tours at the Alvar Aalto - designed Villa Mairea, and at the Ruukki museum too.

We stayed here for one night in July and fell in love with the place. No reason to stay in Pori when you can come to Noormarkku!

The place is very nicely renovated and fortunately it has been done with the history in mind. You can go for a little walk by the river and marvel at the old buildings and Finnish architecture. Our room was in Vainiola and overall it was a great experience. The place is filled with Aalto furniture and while modern, you can still feel the history. The bed was very comfortable and with a nice view. Only downsides are the thin doors that don't offer much of a soundproof from the corridor, and the missing of proper curtains and blinds because there really is some sunlight at night during the Finnish summer.

We had dinner at the Works' restaurant and that was a recommendable experience. The food was delicious and made with local ingredients. Eating here also saves you the trouble of deciding where to go. Five stars for breakfast, too.

Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings make this a must.

Very enjoyable atmosphere in solitude location right next to Pori. We booked golf package at very cost efficiented rate for Yyteri golf course. Are also available for Kalafornia course and both combined.

Service was great in all areas, really enjoyed breakfast and lunch, but for dinner must is Moose Burger. Amazing treat!

Accommodation in family room was great, nice view to river and fields, elegant design with relaxing colours. Not often can one sleep in such a great bed!

Highly recommended for weekend get-aways, for peace and solitude, for golf trips, for business groups.

Room tip: Family rooms are very spacious and elegant.
