Adorable, rustic hotel

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 26, 2017via mobile
I stayed here for two nights, so I could commute to the Buddhist Monastery, Plum Village and still be close to the gare. It was perfect as a solo traveler. It's a very tiny hotel, with a small town charm to it. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The woman who owns it was so fun and friendly. She took the time to talk to me, even though my French is not an advanced level. She even helped call me a taxi one morning.

The only thing I'd warn to light sleepers is that due to it being small and older, you can hear the noise easily around the hotel, especially from the creaky stairs, the hall, and from the bar. It didn't bother me much because the bar closes at midnight anyways.

I will be staying here again for my next stay to Plum Village!

Great King Size Bed, I'm 6'4 250 pounds and I slept very well in it with my wife. We had the room that makes the corner of the Building. The Owner and her Son are very helpful and loving. The French Breakfast is Authentic. Easy Parking and Great Quiet Location, especially when you come by Train.

This is an old Cafe/hotel in front of the Train station, seven minutes walking to centre ville, with a lot of parking space around. Though the registry is through the cafe, it has a side entrance with individual key where to find a lot of leaflets with information of the surroundings. The host was friendly and helpful.

The room was correct and very clean. Just a few minor things like the toilet (salle d'eau) is quite small, and the building old floor is a little bit noisy. Convenient location for a short stay.

Breakfast was fine: coffee, orange juice, croissant and bread with butter and marmalade. Don't forget the "Tax sejour": 0.79€/pax/day

Room tip: Rooms in front of the station are probably cooler in summer than the others but maybe noisier.

Clean rooms, nice size. Very close to train station. A bit of an awkward checkin through the bar of the restaurant below. Overall good value & would return. Accommodating host who spoke English fairly well.
