The restaurant is in a stunning setting. The menu is set and you order 3, 5 or 7 courses. The courses are complex and well presented. The food overall was very good with some exceptional dishes - the lamb in particular. Had a tasting wines with the meal which complimented the food - as it should.

Came here with a group of about ten people, seated at one large round table. Very pleasant setting in the top floor of the new spectacular concert hall and a full view of the harbor. Very good service.

We had the 5 course menu. Started with a mozzarella stuffed with other cheeses over pickled tomatoes, then an unusual and very good seared and lightly breaded lettuce. A beautiful cod included a thin folded sheet of apple, and as was follows by a spectacularly flavorful lamb - both of these were creative preparations of Icelandic traditional foods. We finished with a very creative combination of sorbet over bread and virgin olive oil - the flavor combination worked! The final touch was a nice Illy espresso.

We started the meal with a nice Pinot Grigio and then moved to a Valpolicella for the red (just okay).

This meal was a treat and the restaurant was a wonderful place to celebrate a special event.

Went to Kolabrautin for lunch with my firm. This was so excellent. This lunch could have been a dinner. Cod and Lamb a traditional Icelandic meal, served like we were royals. The seenery, the view, I could have been sitting there all day long. The service was very good too.

This restaurant is located at Harpa building. I very nice building and its ambience. We had group lunch here arrayed by our meeting host. The food was not bad, but the service was a bit slow.

The review's title says it all. The view, and the walk up the many stairs of the Harpa building is wonderful. The preferred time of day is just before sunset, so you can watch the sun slowly sink. Of course, you can get 90% of the view by just walking up the stairs and walking around the building's top floor, and save yourself some money.

The food was pretty good, but not worth what they were charging. On the other hand, Iceland is expensive, so combined with the view, the prices are not unreasonable.

The staff was slow, and didn't come around very often to fill water glasses, etc.

The maitre d' was rude. He yelled at me for bringing my small camera backpack (measuring 9 x 10 x 16 inches, or 22 x 25 x 40 centimeters) and tried have me leave in the unattended coat closet. Sorry, I am not leaving $2,000 worth of equipment on the floor in an unattended closet outside the restaurant.
