I had booked our trip as a birthday present to my partner. The hotel left a lovely note and macaroons in our room for him to enjoy, which was a really welcoming and appreciated gesture.
We slept very well and even though our room faced a street we didn't hear much noise from outside. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the large shower. The toiletries are of a high quality and are replenished as they are used. There is a minibar which is restocked daily, offering wine, beer and soft drinks.
The buffet breakfast offered a large and varied selection, including cereal and porridge, fruit, fish, cold meats, cheeses, jams and breads. The hot offerings were bacon, sausage, potato cubes and eggs. There is even some skyr and waffles to be had.
The hotel offers a happy hour from 4-6pm on beer and wine which can be enjoyed in the very comfortable lounge area.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and even printed out our boarding passes for free.
The location is perfect, very central and within walking distance to just about everything, and just around the corner from Bus Stop No.6.
We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
