Silent city- they call it.. it is relatively silent. Interesting to see this walled medieval town, with a beautiful church - a great cultural experience, transports one to a bygone era. The view of the outside city high up from the walls at night is absolutely lovely.

Such a tranquil place to visit , still feels so original as it was over the centuries as very little has changed, all the old building and little streets full of history, loved it.

Despite the rain we loved our trip to Mdina. The narrow honey coloured alleyways and lovely vistas really brought alive life in a medieval city. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful.

A Medieval Walled City. Beautiful, peaceful place. Sorry I didn't leave more time on my hop on hop off bus tour to stay longer.

Visited here with friends. Wasnt too sure what to expect- had a walk round it was very quiet and a lot of lovely buildings. We visited the church and it was lovely. Would recommend.

As no cars go here, the Mdina old city is great to walk around. All the old buildings were beautifully built, and its really relaxing to wonder round the old streets and see the attriactions within. It is well worth walking to the far end of the city and admiring the views high above Malta countryside.

This is a must when visiting Malta. Historic, beautiful and quiet. Can get busy and streets are narrow. Impressed by access via visitor centre using elevator. Easy to get to by bus or hop on hop off. Spend time wandering around enjoy the wide view,

This is one of the must in Malta. We got there early, so the old city wasn't crowded at all. Spend few hours there walking through the narrow streets of this beautiful and well preserved medieval city. So calm and quiet. Visited some places where the Game of Thrones was filmed too.

I loved Mdina more than almost any other place I visited in Malta. I loved the quiet with no cars allowed inside the gates to protect the old paving stones. It was fun to walk around and look at all the unique doors, door handles and knockers. We ate at a wonderful restaurant there too. The view is far and calming to the eye.
